DOUBLE-GROUND
WOOD CHIPS
Double-ground wood chips are recycled wood chips that have been processed through a grinding machine twice. The result is a finer, more uniform material than standard wood chips.
Ideal for:
Walking beam furnaces
Animal bedding for livestock facilities and poultry operations
Biomass fuel for power plants and industrial boilers
Erosion control on construction sites and along roadways
Landscaping mulch for large-scale projects
Municipal or commercial composting
Our double-ground chips are 1" or less in size and made from poplar.
It’s a very versatile product and is usually less than 5% moisture content (we’ve seen consistent readings of 2-3%).
SAWDUST
Sawdust is fine wood particles mixed with small wood strands and dust. It is an extremely absorbent material with a high dust-to-strand ratio.
Ideal for:
Hazardous waste remediation
Chemical spills from train derailment
Grain dryers/wood dust suspension burners
Animal bedding for livestock facilities
Absorbent material for animal processing facilities
Bedding for cattle/hog transportation
Our sawdust consists of 85-90% fine dust particles combined with wood strands less than 1" in size.
It offers excellent absorption with a very low moisture content of 2-5%.
SHRED FUEL
Shred fuel is a mixture of wood waste primarily consisting of bark, coarse chips, and sawdust. It is a variable consistency material, primarily used as biomass fuel.
Ideal for:
Industrial boilers and biomass energy production
Paper mills and pulp production
Soil amendment when aged
Erosion control applications
Composting operations
Our shred fuel has a variable moisture content ranging from 20% to 50%.
While the fine particles contain moisture, the bark component burns efficiently, which makes this an economical fuel source for industrial applications that require substantial heat output.
